Character’s Background:
At a young age, Akihiko found himself in an orphanage with his sister, Miki. There, his steadfast friendship with Aragaki Shinjiro began, and since then, he has watched his back as he knew Shinjiro would watch his. In middle school, Akihiko discovered his latent abilities as a Persona user and was offered to join S.E.E.S. and agreed. However, an unfortunate turn of eventsduring an operation caused him to realize his incapabilities, and since then has trained hard to prevent the same thing from reoccuring.
Although Akihiko is still friends with Shinjiro, he can't help but feel like a gap is growing between them. He still keeps touch, but the incident from the pastcauses much tension. As for his remaining teammate in S.E.E.S., Mitsuru, a reliable bond of trust has grown through their seniority as members of the group. Like Mitsuru, Akihiko is always on the look out for potential members.
Outside of S.E.E.S., his life is filled with the glory known as being a number one boxer, not having lost a single match out of the 16 he's participated in. Girls often tail him, admiring his stoic front, but more often than not they give him headaches than pleasure.
Character’s Personality: Very serious and driven, Akihiko always aims to win -- at least when it comes to strengthening physically. Not to say he doesn't use his head, but often he has a one track mind. He is usually reserved and collected, but when someone is in peril he is quick to take action -- perhaps a little too quickly. Urged by his past, he is determined not to relive his lack of strength.
He's not always cool and calm though, and when defeat eventually comes (in all sorts of forms) Akihiko takes it hard. Usually, he'll use this as a means to fuel his training regiment even further. He could be described as the self-motivated lone wolf at times.
